SECTION · OUR WORK · WHAT WE'VE BUILT

Our Work.

The real body of work, kept in plain sight. Our own products and the projects we shipped for clients, across Johannesburg, Toronto, and the UK, each one a real build with real numbers. Scroll, and the map fills in where the work happened.

THETA.·A SYNQA PRODUCT·CUSTOMER COMMS

The customer-comms team that never sleeps.

What it is.

Always-on AI that reads every customer message, answers from your own knowledge, and hands off to a person when it should. WhatsApp-first, not bolted on.

What it does.

Connect Notion, Shopify, Google Docs, or a folder of PDFs and Theta indexes it in minutes. Set the tone with a handful of example replies, then let it answer across WhatsApp, Email, and Messenger while you approve the first few.

Built for.

Teams answering the same questions every day, where a reply that comes an hour late is a customer already gone. Set up in an afternoon, not a six-week rollout.

HOLM·A SYNQA PRODUCT·SPATIAL CAPTURE

Walk the room once. Get a measured plan and a photoreal walkthrough.

What it is.

Walk through any room with your iPhone and Holm captures it as a measured plan and a photoreal walkthrough at the same time, entirely on the device.

What it does.

LiDAR maps walls, doors, windows, and furniture live as you go. In moments the scan becomes a clean, centimetre-accurate blueprint and a stand-inside model with the room's real light. Toggle between the two, measure later, drop a to-scale sofa in to check clearances.

Built for.

The home you live in, not a listing. Private the way private should mean: no cloud, no account, no servers, and the scan never leaves your phone.

REWRITE.·A SYNQA PRODUCT·REFLECTIVE READING

Four traditions, one reading, your own conclusions.

What it is.

A reflective reading that draws on Western astrology, Zi Wei Dou Shu, numerology, and feng shui at once, weaving where they agree and where they pull apart into one quiet picture. Built to help you think, not to tell you what to do.

What it does.

At the centre is The Draft, a conversational interface you can think out loud with. Bring a career turn or a relationship shift, read it across four lenses, then talk back to the reading, ask follow-ups, and sit with the contradictions.

Built for.

Anyone who wants reflection as a two-way conversation rather than a one-way verdict. In beta on iOS.

PATCHPAL·A SYNQA PRODUCT·CIVIC UTILITY

Pin it, measure it, get it fixed.

What it is.

A pothole reporting and bookmarking app that turns any phone into a road-maintenance utility. Built in partnership with Strada Investment Group out of South Africa.

What it does.

Drop a pin where the pothole sits and the location saves to your map. PatchPal returns an approximate depth and width so you can gauge severity, then return to fix it yourself or hand it to the Community Works team for repair, free of charge.

Built for.

Drivers in South Africa and Zimbabwe, so the next person does not have to learn the road the hard way. Coming soon, starting in southern Africa.

AI PROXIMITY DETECTION·MINING, JOHANNESBURG·SYSTEMS & HARDWARE

Fleet-wide collision awareness, at a fraction of the going rate.

The problem.

Heavy machines and people share the same ground in a mine. Commercial proximity systems exist, but at a per-machine price that makes covering a whole fleet hard to justify.

The build.

Synqa designed the system from a blank slate: AI cameras, UWB pedestrian tags, in-cab alerts, driver monitoring, ruggedized for mining conditions, with the bill of materials, cabling, sourcing, and a compliance roadmap to match.

The result.

A fleet-scale blueprint priced about 92% under commercial alternatives, built to cover 50+ heavy machines and 20+ light vehicles.

PAPER TRAIL·CONFIDENTIAL, JOHANNESBURG·AUTOMATION & DATA

Twelve years of paper, matched in three days.

The problem.

A paper archive of invoices and delivery notes going back to 2012. Matching them by hand was slow and easy to get wrong.

The build.

An OCR workflow that reads each scanned document, pulls the key fields, and matches invoices to delivery notes, rule-based first and AI only where it has to be, to keep the token cost down.

The result.

24,332 documents matched and reconciled in three days, a paper archive turned into a searchable record.

BRANCHLINE·STONE CONNECTION, JOHANNESBURG·CUSTOM SOFTWARE

A national sales floor you can read at a glance, not decode for an hour.

The problem.

Stone Connection ran 100 people across 10 branches on scattered spreadsheets and delayed reports. Reading a branch's current numbers off the old system could take a manager close to an hour.

The build.

Synqa built one operating view that pulls daily, monthly, branch-level, and individual sales into a single place. Leadership sets targets, compares branches side by side, and watches trends as they move, instead of waiting on manual updates.

The result.

Roughly an hour of stat-decoding replaced with instant branch visibility, across 100 team members and 10 branches. Sales tracking went from an admin chore to a live management view of the whole national footprint.

SCTOOLS·STONE CONNECTION, JOHANNESBURG·CUSTOM SOFTWARE

Three fabrication workflows, run from one internal tool.

The problem.

Stone Connection's Johannesburg team handled cutting surface-area math, CNC optimization, and inland transport tracking as separate, manual checks. Each one was its own slow, error-prone step.

The build.

Synqa built SCTools to do all three in one place: calculate cutting surface areas, estimate usable material and better CNC cutting options, and track inland transport for clients. Sales, processing, and logistics share one workflow.

The result.

3 operational workflows consolidated into 1 internal tool, cutting waste and admin and tightening coordination between departments. The team plans cuts and moves with one toolset instead of juggling three.

APEXMORPH·CBLU GROUP, UK·AUTOMATION & DATA

An Apex27 export to a bank-ready payment file, in under a minute.

The problem.

CBLU Group prepared payments from Apex27 CRM exports by hand: checking rows, fixing formatting, building the file. It was slow and easy to get wrong.

The build.

Synqa built ApexMorph in a single day. Upload the Apex27 Excel export, the tool validates every transaction, flags anything missing or incorrect, and generates the payment file in the bank's required format.

The result.

Export to bank-ready payment file in under 60 seconds, with every transaction checked before it leaves. A manual payment-prep chore became upload, validate, generate.

RFID ASSET TRACKING·CONFIDENTIAL, LOCATION WITHHELD·SYSTEMS & HARDWARE

Movement history for high-value assets, with no monthly platform fee.

The problem.

A client moving high-value physical assets needed to cut the risk of loss, misplacement, and theft across sites where manual tracking fell short and recurring SaaS fees were unwelcome.

The build.

Synqa designed a 2-part tracking architecture: yard-level inventory tracking and gate-level movement control. It combines handheld RFID scanning, fixed gate readers, camera verification, tamper-aware logging, and offline sync, built for low-connectivity sites and reliable audit trails, on in-house software rather than a rented platform.

The result.

A 2-part architecture carrying 0 monthly SaaS dependency, giving the client accountability, movement history, and loss prevention on infrastructure they own.

KB CIVILIZATION·INTERNAL SYNQA, TORONTO·AI & AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS

Sixteen agents, one Minecraft world, no human at the controls.

The problem.

Most agent work stops at fetching an answer. The open question is what agents do when they run free: whether they form roles, trade, organize labour, and build a society on their own.

The build.

Synqa ran 16 autonomous AI agents inside a shared Minecraft world, with 2 vision agents acting as their eyes through teleporting observation. The agents explore, gather resources, build, make currency, and interact with each other without standing human instruction.

The result.

16 agents plus 2 vision agents running a live test of fully autonomous behavior, watching whether early social and economic structures form on their own. This sits at the experimental edge of the work.

PATCHPAL CRUSH·PATCHPAL, TORONTO·CUSTOM SOFTWARE

Will the box survive a full container? Now you know before you load.

The problem.

PatchPal needed to know how many boxes could go into a 20ft container without crushing the ones on the bottom. Guessing risked damaged stock in real shipping conditions.

The build.

Synqa built a calculator that works out container loading capacity, box stacking patterns, weight and volume limits, stack height, and crush pressure on the lower layers. It pinpoints where a carton would fail under compression and where to reinforce it.

The result.

A model of full 20ft container loading that flags crush points before they happen, guiding carton reinforcement so packaging survives logistics and the container still loads efficiently.
